As of writing this the book is 56 years old. Maybe a little dated? Difficult to grasp? Irrelevant?
No, No and No. Although this book is essentially a manual to revival it is also about a lot, lot more.
It is an extremely challenging book, provoking you to assess your place before the Lord in regard to your relationship with Him.
Arthur Wallis talks of a Biblical God, one who is not so familiar these days in this age of instant gratification. A God who takes time to know and hear, A God that takes more perseverance to find in prayer than perhaps we were willing to give.
At times it's an uncomfortable read, I found I was continually stopping to make sure my conscience was right before Him.
Arthur's intentions were to prepare for Revival, it will prepare you...for anything He wants you to do.
Please read, be challenged and make a difference.
