Although others might find this CD Album, A DAY TO REMEMBER, VOL. II, enchaniting, I find it somewhat corny. Not because the artist brothers who produced it arent' full of feeling in their enditions of these songs -- they certainly are full of feeling for them, and for the audience who will play this CD. The trouble is, there are only two brothers -- and thus, only two instruments. These wedding songs NEED a full orchestra, (or at least a chamber orchestra), to fully bring out the MAJESTY of these wedding classics. As it is, the feelings of love, hope, enchantment, wonder, nervousness, joy, grace, and so many others, are compressed into just the piano and violin. The songs are also played slightly too slowly -- adding to the forced feelings which too often lead to corniness.
Others may like to be seranaded by just two instruments on their wedding day -- but as for me, bring on the full orchestra! When I get married, I want the magnificance of the the occasion to fill the chapel -- just as it does on Royal Weddings!
