I have always liked this band-their sound, riffs and production, however this album goes above and beyond anything they have done previously. To start with, the riffs positively bubble with excitement-when you are on the edge of your seat waiting for that part in the song that just folds you in half with it's heavieness, they do not disappoint.Next off-the drumming-my goodness, the drumming...some of the tightest most brutal drumming i have ever been lucky enough to hear, but it doesn't stop there, because this drummer is inventive and creates subtle tweaks to his tracks that keep you listening.Vocals are good,as you would expect from a band with two vocalists. The vocals being more of a rythmic tool as in most metal bands doesn't offer anything different than you would expect, but works for the music very well, and the voice of the vocalists has some distinction. This album makes up all the right pieces of a jigsaw for a crisp sounding,well-produced metal album which goes a cut above many of the recent alternatives. The D.V.D. is pretty interesting with insight into their recording process. It showcases all the people whom they had guest on the album.

Not a must buy,an aquired taste, but if you like this taste then dive in.

Blast perfection.
