Ashley starts the day as she normally does, except today, she has found out, she actually doesnt have to work. The sandwich shop where she works is closed for the day, so she decides to head back home. If only life were that easy. On her way home she meets a jerk who throws a cup of coffee at her. She is so rattled she doesn't even know which side of the street she is standing on.
That is until help, on the form of a regular at the sandwich shop, shows up. Michael offers to take her for a cup of tea and let her vent. After much persuading she accepts. And all of a sudden Ashley's worst day takes a turn, a surprising one.
This story is about life, about suprises, about strange situations ending up working for you, hence why we should always keep an open mind.
I expected to be entertained by this movie, and surprisingly, it did much more than that. Its a heartwarming story that will make you laugh, cry, and want to "bash someone's head until their's nothing left of their tiny brain."
Ashley and Michael make for the most unlikely, yet, best suited pair I have seen in a long time.
Dont miss this movie, it is truly charming and an excellent and solid first feauture by newcomer writer & director Evan Richards.
At a merely 1hr 20mins, my only complaint is that I wanted more!
