5.0 out of 5 stars The Roots !! 20 Aug 2011
Format:Audio CD
ET Mensah holds a deserved place among "Legends" of African music and this superb compilation from the 50'sand 60's is a superb introduction for those who love African and particularly Ghanaian music. I played it recently to Andy Hamilton a 93 year old saxophonist, who according to Nana Tsiboe - a Ghanaian Master drummer, is although Jamaican by birth Ashanti by roots and he was mesmerised by the music of ET. For me there is no higher commendation.
