Amazon.co.uk Review
Dawson's Creek, with its bucket load of teenage angst, is certainly compulsive viewing with each episode packed with love, loss and soul-searching from the four main characters--Dawson, Pacey, Jen and Joey. Replicating the atmosphere of the supposedly sleepy New England coastal village in a novel is no mean feat, but
Dawson's Creek Omnibus does a pretty good job.
In The Beginning of Everything Else the lusty lads and lasses who inhabit the Creek have to face up to their real futures, realising that promises made can just as easily become promises broken. Dawson is inspired by a beautiful stranger in Long Hot Summer but soon discovers that however hard he tries life will not imitate art. And in Shifting into Overdrive Joey and Jen head to the city for a party in New York, while the boys follow in their footsteps in a race to find out what they are up to.
Hot and pacy, filled with the all the yearning of the TV series, the Dawson's Creek Omnibus fills the gaps between episodes, and will feature high on the list of must-haves for die-hard fans. --Susan Harrison
