Product Description

Product Description

The second in a new series of mystery thrillers based on the hit TV series Dawson's Creek. 'No one is allowed'. Joey, Pacey, Dawson and Jen shudder at the housekeeper's ominous words. It's dark and gloomy at one end of the Southern plantation where Jen's cousin Monique lives, and nothing's been touched in the off-limits wing since 1870, when Isabella Percy, Monique's relative, died there of a broken heart, waiting in vain for her true love to return after the Civil War. A spooky mansion, a secret tunnel, a romantic love story, and some voodoo: Dawson is convinced the group is in for the adventure of their lives.

About the Author

Holly Henderson and Liz Tigelaar have both written for the hit television show Dawson's Creek. Liz Tigelaar also contributes creative content to the show's on-line extension Dawson's Desktop. Both writers live in California.

I thought that this book was really good, and it was realistic to how the characters would behave in certain situations. It was written by Liz Tigelaar and Holly Henderson who used to work on the official Dawson's Creek website as the question-answer hosts and Liz was also a production and writer's assistant on the show, so she knows the characters well, she also wrote Episode #321 Show Me Love in Season 3. This book is excellent and Liz really uses her knowledge to explore the characters in ways we can't see on screen, and this book follows Joey's struggle to face her mother's death as she meets someone else who has lost her parents - a ghost!! Read by all means, but if you get scared easily (like me) then don't read after 7pm, because you won't sleep later on!!!!!

"The Creek" meets the "The Bayou" WOW... 30 Nov 2006

This book was "a" to the "m" to the "azing!!!" The plot? Tight as a drum! The characters? Deep and pitch perfect! The mystery? More twists than a slinky. The one problem is that I could tell the author smells like farts.
