Product Description

Bobby Harris has suffered many losses in his life, such as the murder of his pregnant wife, the loss of his leg to a Great White, and now he loses Dawn. In this sequel to 'The Thin Line', Bobby teams up with his ex-partner from homicide to solve the mysterious death at Sandbridge Beach, Virginia. Prepare yourself for many colorful characters, twists and turns, and a surprise ending.

Visit the quiet coastal community known as Sandbridge Beach, located 10 miles south of commercial Virginia Beach.
After Hurricane Betsey slams the coast, she deposits the water-logged corpse of a local woman. Dawn is Bobby Harris' ex-girlfriend.
The residents become worried, thinking there's a killer in their midst. Ex-homicide detective Harris teams up with best friend, David Black, still active on the Virginia Beach force, to find this killer.
It is recommended to read the first Bobby Harris novel 'The Thin Line' before this one. However, both are stand alone novels.
Sit back and enjoy. All reviews are welcome and appreciated.
Keep smilin'...Lee

Dawn's Death 20 Mar 2012
By Larry - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Kindle Edition|Amazon Verified Purchase
Lee Carey's novel, "Dawn's Death" gets a full five start treatment. You have to wonder how much pain one man can stand before irrationality sets in. Bobby Harris's pregnant wife was raped and murdered, and then he gets his leg ripped off by a shark in "The Thin Line." Now, in the sequel the woman he loves is murdered. Former detective Bobby teams up with his ex partner, who has his own problems, in tracking down the killer. How and why the mystery concludes is more intriguing than "...who done it."

Lee Carey has done it again 23 Mar 2012
By G. Byrge - Published on Amazon.com

This sequel to Carey's "The Thin Line" gripped me right out of the chute. The characters are well-drawn, and the character of the Sandbridge community made a fine backdrop for this whodunit. Although Carey throws in a few foreshadowing clues, the revelations at the end still caught me a bit by surprise. And he does it without gore, bad language, or in-your-face sex. I hope he has a third Sandbridge/Bobby Harris novel in the works .

By Jan - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Kindle Edition
Once again Lee has not let me down in his writings. I kept going back and forth trying to figure out who the killer was. I did not figure it out! I found myself reading evey free minute I had.I would recommend this book to all.
