Product Description

A young Adolf Hitler (Tom Schilling - The Baader Meinhoff Complex) begins his long dark journey, steering him to leadership of the Nazi regime. Hitler's humble and sheltered early years are quickly transformed into an egomaniacal and ruthless obsession with power. He takes delight in tormenting and destroying the lives of those he sees as inferior, but this is only the beginning... With incredibly moving performances and an intense look at the life of one of the most infamous and sinister men in history, Dawn of Evil will shock and stun, throwing you deep into the terror of the Third Reich.

Dawn of Crap 24 Aug 2011
A horrible film. Do not buy it.

Totally unrealistic, unhistorical and the translation is wrong in places. A horrible film not worth buying at all.

Hitler made friends with a older jew in Vienna in 1910, possible but not likely. Having an eye for a girl, possible and understandable.

Leading a bunch of people from the city to form the nazi party in 1910, never happened, he found it difficult to create lasting friendships. The jew he befriends writing Mein Kamp as his own book and Hitler wanting it for himself, unhistorical.

Dull 29 Sep 2011
The film takes an interesting idea but just drags it out with nothing to keep the viewer hooked. There is no action, no witty dialogue. The actor playing Hitler is very intense but aside from that the other performances are average at best. So far the only 'good' films I've seen about Adolf Hitler are 'Uncle Adolf', 'Downfall' and 'Hitler: The Rise of Evil'. They may not be 100% historically accurate but at least they're entertaining, this film however is not.
