Great CD, but more trax 2 B found....,
This review is from: Dawn of the Dead - Unreleased Incidental Music (Audio CD)
Fantastic to get all the library music after all these years, however the search goes on to get hold of the the following...1: The kooky mall muzak when Roger turns on the power. 2: The department store muzak that comes on when Peter and Roger go "Now how the hell are we gonna get out?" "Who cares, let's go shoppin' first!" etc. 3: The 2nd department store muzak tune that plays when Peter, Roger and Stephen run down the stairs to do the 'Okey-Doke' trick for the second time. 4: The mellow acoustic tune on the record that Stephen puts on when he plays cards with Peter. 5: The heroic music at the end when Peter decides to survive and escape after all. Call me a completist, but.....well, it IS such a cult classic! ;)

A Piece of Class and Laughter Missing Just a Few Pieces,
By A Customer

This is truly one of the finest additions to my cd collection. Most people will agree that it covers most of the holes in Goblin's soundtracks to Dawn of the Dead. I really appreciate the efforts to get this CD on the market. However, even this cd has its small share of holes: -the song played during the candlelight dinner scene. (that was my favorite song in the movie) -the beautiful organ song sequence played when the main characters take off and we see lights going out in the apartment buildings. -the song played when Peter finally decides to escape with Fran. -the song we hear on a record that Steven/Flyboy plays. If I could at least find out what song that was, that would be great. -It also would have been kind of nice if the Mall Montage scene were split up into separate tracks. That can be done without making gaps between songs. -Another thing that this CD needs is to add that life filled crescendo that we remember from the end of track 14. Until they come out with a cd with those holes I described or a double disc set with ALL the music, it doesn't get any better than adding this cd combined with Goblin's 20th anniversary soundtrack to your collection.

WOW!!!!, what can i say that the other reviewers haven't. So many people have waited so many years for this music, myself included. A rare arfifact from the golden age of exploitation. I agree that some of the best tracks are still unreleased, but i hope johnny trunk is on the job to unearth the remainder of those ultra rare mellow tracks, and it would be a excellent idea to release them both with classic dialogue from the film to create the ultimate Dawn experience. If you've not got this do so NOW! You wont regret it. The Gonk goes down a storm at parties believe me.
