I was kinda losing hope with Shriggers after the revivalist Book Of Shrigley, and Kill Your Pets - a book that relied to heavily on slogans - but his recent weekly Guardian magazine cartoons and this little beauty mark a real return to form, with some of his finest drawing and also words since the heady days of books like Grip (my personal favourite).
It's the same Shrig story, only this time each page is given over to mock song lyrics, and the package has been really well put together. If he gets all his wordy ideas out of the way in the songs (themselves often hilarious), it frees him up to do what he does best - ie weird, pointless, genius characters and messages. A favourite here is BEES FLEW IN MY EYES, and the small child who needs a wheelchair. I can't recommend Worried Noodles enough. Shriggers is back on top.
