This is an excellent book I thoroughly enjoyed and would recommend to any film buff or Lean fan. It looks at all his films, dealing with each fully with splendid photographs and supporting text. He directed some of the classic films of the twentieth century in that style we have come to know so well.
"Ryan's Daughter", "Bridge on the River Kwai", "Lawrence of Arabia", "Doctor Zhivago" and so on. This extensive range of masterful films is treated with great skill and respect in this book.
