Hi, and thanks for coming to visit.
I live and work in a hilltop village near the university city of Oxford, UK. My early training was in graphics, and I produced award-winning visual work for international newspapers and magazines, before turning to writing and producing books and over the last few years, e-media.
A satisfying early assignment was the book series 'World of the Future', co-written with Kenneth Gatland. Over the years I've been pleased to see many of our predictions come true. Two examples - we foresaw widespread use of mobile phones, and the rise of green technologies. Our work has been exhibited in New York this year with a multinational computer company.
I worked on space books with astronomers Heather Couper and Nigel Henbest. 'Galaxies and Quasars' won the Times Educational Supplement Prize, a great honour.
I wrote and produced the 'Science Discovery' children's series, which won 'Best Science Books of the Year' Award in the US, another milestone moment.
I am now create sci-tech material, primarily for e-media such as iPhone, iPad, Android, and Kindle.
I also do a daily modelmaker's blog which you can visit here - www.scalemodelnews.com.
