When i was A Boy many years ago we watched these classic adaptations of Dickens stories, all in black and white of course for there was no Colour Tvs in those days...However they still remain today the best versions of Dickens due to the quality of period effects and Actors abilities...Pure Class

perhaps the best all-round film version of Charles Dickens's masterpiece. Pity that it is not in colour, but superbly restored in black and white.
