Really good book for me, a novice photographer, wanting to get to grips with my new (and first) DSLR. Although the early chapters do repeat what's in the manufacturer's instruction booklet, the book is much easier to read and for revisiting the parts you need to refer back to. The latter chapters of the book make good use of comparative picture's to illustrate the points being made and differences between the various settings etc.
The whole book is written in a straight forward language/style and I found no problems understanding the concepts being introduced.
And finally, the best bit is that the whole book refers exactly to my camera as I've been so frustrated reading various other books and magazines which don't cover the Sony range very well, if at all.
