David Brewerton, a past winner of the London Business School Financial Journalist of the Year, spent his entire working life in the media, blagging his way up from copy boy at the Extel news agency to Business Editor of the London Times. Currently, he writes obituaries for the Guardian newspaper, an activity which seems appropriate for a hack who has done with full time work. He recently added "biographer" to his cv, as he is in demand to write entries for the Oxford Dictionary of National Biography. David has wide experience of investigative journalism and also mastered the black art of public relations as a director of one of London's top international consultancies. He has travelled extensively, largely at others' expense, lives in Central London and spends too much time at the cinema when he should be working. Despite that, his second Cassandra Brown novel, "Obituary Premature", will be out this year. For a sneak preview visit his webpages.
