About the Author
Dave Walker started drawing cartoons during lectures at bible college and eventually swapped essay writing for a life in humour. His Guide to the Church cartoons appear each week in the Church Times, and he helps to run its website, www.churchtimes.co.uk. Being quite good at computers, he also runs two creative community sites www.cartoonchurch.com and www.wibsite.com where you can see more of his cartoons. A former youth worker, Dave lives in Essex.

I work in the parish office of a church and for the last three years we have had one of these on the wall. The humorous cartoons are spot-on and it also has all the major festivals and 'proper' names for each Sunday. Wouldn't be without it!

These are classic cartoons, and some of the funniest. In a calendar where you (clearly) see the images for a month at a time, it's great to use images that stand the test of time! I hang this next to my PC at my office desk - my colleagues know what I'm up to (I have multiple jobs), it gives them a giggle .. and sometimes starts a conversation!
