5.0 out of 5 stars Ace! 12 Oct 2010
I bought the 2010 calender for my wife and it has hung in the kitchen all year. It never fails to raise a smile, a chucle or a laugh!
We use it as our family planner calender for which it is ideal.
My vicar (I am a curate) also has the 2010 calender in his kitchen and he agrees with me!

5.0 out of 5 stars a humourous approach 12 Oct 2010
I have always enjoyed Dave Walker's simple and witty cartoons which will always show the humorous side to everyday situations and conundrums that can crop up in any church. I very much appreciate his 'tongue in cheek' style. Approach this calender with an active funny bone.

I also have the 2010 version and I think it is excellent. Also I am married to a clergyman who thinks it is hilarious. I can see no reason why the 2011 one wont be as good. All Dave's Church Times cartoons raise a smile, chortle or belly laugh in this house each week.

I can only assume the poor reviewer hasn't been a member of a middle of the road Anglican church...? If you have, ever, in your life, you will identify with this. There lies the humour!

5.0 out of 5 stars Dave Walker can do no wrong 12 Oct 2010
I always look for Dave Walker's cartoons first in the Church Times every week and they never fail to amuse. This is the perfect gift for your priest, PCC member, Youth Worker or indeed anyone who goes to church - and even those who don't for they might realise how fun it is!

By Kathryn
I bought this for a clergy relative of mine who lives in Canada, but I like it so much I'm buying another copy for myself.

5.0 out of 5 stars Snort Out Loud... 12 Oct 2010
I have already purchased the 2011 calendar (it's on my office wall, and my non Christian colleagues think it's funny too!), and have seen so many of Dave's other cartoons. It was particularly funny at Greenbelt to watch people wandering round the Church Times tent, and shortly after they look at each cartoon, see their shoulder start to shake, or they would snort out loud. Always RIGHT on the money!!

Dave Walker's cartoons are fantastic. His ideas and illustrations always make us laugh and I will be getting this for a couple of other people I have thought of since buying it last week.
