I got this item delivered to my works yesterday & it created quite alot of interest, my work mates hadn't even seen it properly and one person ordered 1 there & then, great fun & can't wait to see it's full potential, have bought this for my son for christmas & i think he will love it, in fact I think i will have more fun with it than him, great product.

My son received one for Christmas... quite fiddly to attach, though it kept him entertained when we went for christmas lunch with the rest of the family. The monkey even works if the person with the remote control is outside the room behind a closed door! We were at a house full of family and five young children under 10 so Dave the monkey certainly got plenty of attention! However, Dave must be hibernating (mmm, I didn't know monkeys did that either) because we haven't seen much of him since christmas holidays ended. Overall though great fun for children & we didn't notice any problems at all with the remote.

Bought as a present for an 8 year old girl, we half expected it to be a one day wonder and then cast aside as the novelty wore off.
Wrong! Dave has become a firm favourite with daughter and friends. Over 30 actions (head/ arm movement with appropriate noise , cue much young hilarity at,amongst others, burp, raspberry blowing and, ahem, breaking wind!) combined with a shoulder strap that allows you to walk around with Dave perched beside your head means his play value has proven enormous. And not just for the kids!!
Operated by a remote control, the batteries have lasted well and when he is left alone sitting say on the edge of a table, he eventually goes to sleep. Not really a cuddly toy but still gets the odd hug from the children, this has turned out to be a hit with all ages, much to my surprise. So much so that others have now ordered it.
And it came well protected with the retail packaging protected by a sealed poly bag inside th usual Amazon box.
Great gift, hope others have as much fun as we have.
