DVD Description
Dave Chappelle is a successful comedian, screenwriter and actor. Chappelle’s laid-back yet socially attuned style of comedy has made him a favourite among all ages and races. As an actor he’s appeared alongside some of Hollywood’s biggest names in films such as The Nutty Professor, Con Air, You’ve Got Mail, Undercover Brother and Blue Streak. Chappelle also co-wrote and starred in the side-splitting prison caper Half Baked. Now laugh out loud as you spend 60 hilarious minutes with Dave Chappelle as he sounds off on everyone within earshot.
Originally aired on HBO in 2000, Killin’ Them Softly is without a doubt one of the funniest stand-up specials available. You’ll never laugh more than you will here. Dave spare no victim as he addresses issues about the police, racism, Sesame Street, kids and the government.

Being from England, not many folks have taken much deserved attention to 'Dave Chappelle's' stand up's although many are familiar with his face due to his appearance in such blockbuster's as 'Blue streak' along side 'bad boy's' star 'Martin Lawrence'. I took a risk buying this DVD and now this lays in my best of DVD collection... disappointed its only an hour long, I was left with a sore throat from laughing so much anyway... I anticipate his HBO comedy series coming to DVD (hopefully soon). Dave has many valid comments that leave us, as the home audience shouting at the screen to confirm our relation and strong agreements to him. Members of the audience, of whom he asks a “white man” who he’s going to vote for, prove his perspective on the American society accurate. He replies "don't know" as Dave goes on to expound the alterations of black people and white people and somewhat link ethnicity from democracy to Sesame Street. Oh', don't worry, the Mexicans and Cubans are shot at too. His stories are off the charts and his timing couldn’t be better with the punch lines... something to get your friends over for as you scramble for the rewind button on the remote. Top quality entertainment... very funny... reccomended to everyone who enjoyed 'Kings of comedy' or even 'Chris Tucker' in 'Rush Hour'. A definite must have (if your looking to expand your comedy tittles).

I came across David Chappelles stand up on a compilation dvd of the Just for Laughs festival. His section was only a few minutes long but he was easily the funniest comic included.
I decided to look him up and found this dvd at a low price. Im glad I got it. David Chappelle is hilarious. From the baby on the corner in the ghetto to the unbelievable stories of his white friend "Chip", this dvd is hilarious from start to finish.
Highly recommended.

Hilarious!
Love Dave Chapelle, he's hilarious! He pushes the envelope on racism but it's the reality of America so you just have to laugh about it. Genius!
