I bought this a while ago for my ds to coonect to the internet with the ds internet browser.It took a while to set up but once i had it going it was great.When installing it gives the opption to install either psp drivers or ds drivers. However it works like a normal wifi plug in and even better you can select if you want the computer to be an access point or a station.It has wep (64,128 and 256 bit)and ive been using it for my wii and laptop to create a wireless access point. Must buy for a ds,psp,wii or laptop owner

Well i will start by saying I love Nintendo and have been trying since November to get on the Internet with my DS. I bought this mainly because it doesnt need Windows XP to work(which i dont have) and you can link laptops and pda's to it. Unfortunately i haven't managed to even access the internet with my DS or my Sisters DS! There is a major problem with aquiring an IP adress. I have been to Datel and have tried to fix it and i am still undergoing this process. After buying this I now regret not buying Nintendo's version as there is no messing about with Ip adresses and WEP keys and DNS codes.I know this product works for many but unfortunately it hasn't worked in this case.... Go for nintendo's version....

This equipment, and software that comes with it, really is awful. I strongly recommend that you either get hold of a wi-fi router for your home or just buy Nintendo's offical USB adaptor.
After several hours of fiddling, changing settings, re-installing, going online for new driver software and so on, I still haven't been able to connect to the Nintendo Wi-fi network (i.e. the entire point of me purchasing this thing!). Not a good piece of hardware at all. At least Nintendo's own USB has proper online support should you have difficulty. Don't waste your money on this. I gave it 1 star because it actualy looks quite nice and comes with a little stand. Not that it'll be of much use to you!
