Product Description
Period piece comedy from the post-war British cinema. Four war-time concert party performers have a reunion and decide they are good enough to form a successful nightclub act. But will their audiences think the same? As well as a young Terry Thomas, the film also stars Norman Wisdom, Wally Patch and Jeanie Carson.

Although this film is now 58 years old, it still entertains most people including myself. This was the film that launched the producing careers of Robert S Baker, and Monty Berman who would go on to produce classic ITC action series such as, "The Saint", "The Baron", "Department S", "Jason King", "The Persuaders", and "The Return Of The Saint".
I loved Terry-Thomas's comic turns in this film, particulary when he entertains the theatre's management to allow the other entetainers to get the money for renting the theatre on time. The songs are good, and its a nice filler especially as its only 55 minutes long.

I am a fan of British Cinema of this period , but was rather disappointed by this particular film. It very much feels like a B movie and there is very little by way of plot. Instead it is basically a series of musical/comic sketches by the various stars , which is fine if not very involving. Also I was disappointed by the fact that while Norman Wisdom is listed as one of the stars he is only in it very briefly in a non-speaking role!.
