Product Description

The latest LightScribe technology (version 1.2) allows for faster labelling, and sharper images compared to the original LightScribe media. For those customers who are still unaware of LightScribe technology, how many times have you printed a label for a freshly burned disc and screwed it up? With LightScribe discs and software, you will never have to print a label again. Using the laser in your drive, the software will etch a design of your choosing into the disc. All you have to do is flip the disc, run the software, and choose your image. Get a perfect image on your disc, everytime. A few examples of things you can print on the disc: - A list of track titles and lengths for a music CD - A digital picture - Images created in Photoshop - Professional looking labels for disks you give to clients This technology is sure to change the way users burn discs. The underlying technology is simple yet ingenious. The top surface of these special discs is screen-printed at the factory with a thermal-sensitive coating (a leuco dye). When exposed to infrared radiation from the recorder's CD laser this material heats and forms a visible mark through an irreversible chemical reaction. By pulsing the laser on and off at the appropriate time as the disc rotates, a pattern of these marks is produced. The entire label is then built by stepping the laser across the surface of the spinning disc thus forming the image in a series of tightly packed concentric rings (tracks). - LightScribe can't peel off, get stuck, or cause disc damage the way paper labels can. - Use text, photos, and even pare-set designs for beautiful results. - No pens, no ink, no printer, and no sticky labels Capacity: 700MB / 80 minutes audio Packaging: Datawrite branded spindle tubs of 50 discs Please Note: You will require a lightscribe enabled DVD writer to print to the label side of the disc

i bought this a while ago as a bargain !
I am two thirds way through. I must have thrown away one third as my HP pavilion keeps rejecting them. Time wasting and frustrating. Some Bargain.
My advice, buy the best as you get what you pay for.
I would not buy again.

Lightscribe Disc's are brill but dont forget you do need to have a lightscribe drive before you can use them properly.

I wont be getting them from Amazon again as the company that supplied them, sent them in a jiffy envelope ( NOT VERY SECURE PACKAGEING ) an for the amount i was charged approx £17.00 i had to wait over a week for them. CRAP SERVICE
