I bought these pens based on other reviews, but am wholly unimpressed.
These pens don't work on the DVDs I'm using - and I don't just mean they take a while to dry, they don't work at all. I'm using blank DVDs with a 'label layer' on the upper surface that usually makes them easier to write on (something like: TDK DVD+R 16x 25pc Cakebox (T19443) ).
Perhaps these pens work on the totally blank/shiny disc surfaces, but not on those I've tried. Be careful.

I have had these about 2 months now and am down to the last one, as they stop working quite quickly. WHen they work, they are fine, but I am not sure I would buy this brand again.

I brought these pens a few weeks ago now, when I opened them to use them, the Black Pen didnt work so I have had to throw away. the other pens are very waterey & bitty but at least they work

rubbish is an understatement...
i purchased this pen set last year and only used the blue pen just once for a windows 7 back-up dvd, well just 2 days later i needed the blue pen again and upon removal of its lid... Read more

RIP OFF
The pens I received were not Datasafe brand and are utterly useless, none of them work at all, this is a complete rip off in my opinion

AVOID
AVOID. Pen are dry and do not work. So hard the tips only the blue works but that ran out after using it 2-3 times.

Got what I paid for, I suppose.
These arrived quickly, that's always nice. But these pens are not good at all. 2 of them dried up in the first 2 weeks (I made sure the caps were always on tight)

Not suitable for CD labelling
These pens are not what I expected and I agree with the earlier reviewer that the point is far too thick for use on cds and worse still the point gets even thicker with use. Read more

OK but not great
Having used Bic pens before I thought these would be similar. They are not. The knib is a lot thicker and means your text on the cd/dvd is thicker. Read more
