Not related to any specific implementation, so don't expect to find mysql tricks or oracle tuning hints...this books explores the relational database theory that lies behind ANY rdbms (basic algebra, entity-relation, conceptual/logical/physical design, capacity planning, index structures, normalization, etc) in a simple, yet not-so-basic manner
One of the best IT books I have ever read , I just wish I had read it before putting my hands on real DBs.
It really amazed me to learn that this book has only two reviews on Amazon (both positive, though)....
A *must* for anyone serious about learning about relational database.
