Good map. Good coverage. Double sided so it covers the whole moor in good detail.
The fact it is waterproof is a big plus. I would hesitate now to take a non-waterproof map hiking on Datmoor (or hiking anywhere really) because it's a very wet place and it wouldn't last long, even if you do have a map case.
But, there is a downside to these laminated maps: they are very much more bulky than non-laminated maps.
I have since discovered a product called Aquaseal Map Seal and although it's a bit of work to do, waterproofing maps with that really works and doesn't make the maps bulky.
This particular Dartmoor map though is very good and I'd recommend it. Cheap too.

VERY useful. I went wild camping in VERY wild weather. Any GPS/sat nav would have been out of the question. This map is waterproof, and I could even mark it, and rub out the marks after use. It's got a matt finish so the shine doesn't make things confusing. I really appreciated having this when the torrential rain set in, and I was in the middle of nowhere. Thanks!

I always use OS maps for my hiking trip and going for active map to avoid having to use the map case as it can be cumbersome.
