Zombies—in Kingston?

Okay, so there were always zombies in Kingston, but now they’re antiquing?
While shopping for Drat’s wedding gift, James and Leanne are drawn into a battle with a biker zombie at Ye Olde Antique Shoppe no doubt looking for that perfect knick knack to set off his crypt.

James and the gang are drawn deeper into mystery as they battle foes on a journey that will lead them from the Isle of Skye, home of Skatha—she who strikes fear—to the Cataraqui Town Centre, the largest shopping center in the greater Kingston area!

It’s a journey that will force James to confront his own conscience as he struggles with his burgeoning powers, and the realization of just what it might mean to live forever.

After all, being dead isn’t nearly as much fun as it looks.

4.0 out of 5 stars A fun follow-up to Darkside 6 April 2011

I'm a friend so take this with a grain of salt. Someone tried to upload these books without permission and then charged more. These are the actual writer's uploads so I'm happy to support him rather than the thief.

If you like your fantasy adventures filled with snappy one-liners and tongue-in-cheek humor, then this is the book for you. Just don't be eating or drinking anything while you're reading.

There is action - S.K.S Perry has had a life in the military and his fight scenes show it -- but I enjoyed it for the interaction of characters and the zingers that rip back and forth.

5.0 out of 5 stars A review by Free Book Reviews 19 Oct 2011

Overall Feedback: So here we are for the second time, dead, well not dead but not really alive and Decker (our hero?0 is doing his best to keep the Zombies in Kingston out of Antique shops? Come on this is hilarious and sets the tone for how Perry would like this series to go. This is another example of the ability of Perry to add humor to the fantasy and adventure that he writes. His experience in the military shines in the battles and his ability to write shines in the overall story. So click buy now and enjoy the ride.

Point of View: Once again you are Decker a not really alive but not dead guy.

Voice: Humor and adventure and a style all the authors own.

Character Development: Perry brings the characters from the first and adds more dimension to each flawlessly.

Plot: Flows perfectly from the first book and develops nicely throughout this one. Read the first one so that you are not catching up on back story.

Dialogue : Humor shines in the dialogue.

Pacing: Just as blitz page turning as the first.

Setting: Kingston...Who knew other than Perry.

Continuity: Not one single aspect of the story is missed and the continuation from the first story has been executed flawlessly.

I'm seriously loving this series. I found it by tracking back links on a story about internet theft and authors...I'm proud to support Perry.
