This is an overlooked classic from this little known band who hailed from i think Colchester, featuring Lloyd Tripp (ex vibes) on double bass & fronted by the enigmatic Smith brothers. The band gigged a lot round London, especially at the infamous Mike Spencers' garage nights downstairs at the clarendon hotel. Prior to the Lp's release the band had recorded one 7 inch ep (leavin' Here) for Spencers' Hit Records. By the time the lp was released there had been a complete line up change, i think only the Smith brothers (who had now moved to London) remained & a much much heavier sound was born. The new line up featured a young girl called Mikki on bass guitar(she later went on to form indie rockers Lush)......sadly none of the later material was ever released.
Upon the final demise of the bugs the lads joined up with former members of Huddersfield band/fanzine writers The Tyme Eliment to form Shiny Pocket Watch.
With the current revival of interest in the 80's garage trash scene, this lp would make a great addition to anyone's collection as a shining example of what it was.

A REAL classic fuzzed out gem. I think the re-mastering is a good move as it really brings out the finer points and captures the more intricate parts than my vinyl copy.A real refreshing re-awakening for one of my favourite 80's garage/trash bands - some of todays bands should give this a go. All in all if you like 80's garage,psyche/trash in the sonics, cramps, milkshakes , vibes etc style then this is a MUST BUY 10/10

Having played my vinyl copy to death the digital remastering on the handy 'hip-pocket' CD reissue brings this obscure classic back to life. Great live back in the day, this album is a fuzzed-out, energetic, psych-garage mixture of cracking originals and classic covers ('hate' in particular).. I can recommend this to any fans of the genre!
