Product Description

It's been twelve years since Olivia and Joel Cameron last
invited the family to spend the weekend at their country
home; a visit that ended in tragedy. Scott, Joel's outrageously sexy youngest brother, was found dead.
The repercussions have torn the family apart.
Olivia's sister Violet has persuaded her to host a reunion so that they can finally lay their ghosts to rest. However, there are some secrets too destructive to remain hidden, and Violet, still grieving for the man she loved, is
determined to uncover the truth.
As the web of hostility and deceit begins to unravel, family ties are tested to the limit.

Twelve years ago, a family reunion ended in tragedy. Now the Cameron family have mett up to spend the new year together and attempt to put the past behind them, but some ghosts just won't be laid to rest. This is a story of intrigue and betrayal. Fraught with tangled relationships and desires. Dark Is The Sky combines an easy-to-read style that quickly absorbs the reader, with vivid characters that leap off the page.

3.0 out of 5 stars Dark is the sky i 20 Jan 2013
Format:Kindle Edition
Love, Murder, Betrayal, Incest and Hate all in one family unit!
The Cameron family are having a family reunion 12 years after a shocking event happened at home of one of the brothers.
The book kept me guessing and had good strong characters but the plot kept flitting form pass to present so many times that I was pleased to get to the actual who done it part.
I liked the book and I liked the way the you couldn't predict the ending.

4.0 out of 5 stars Sorority, Fraternity & Kissing Cousins 10 Nov 2012
Format:Kindle Edition
Sorority, Fraternity, Murder, Love, Betrayal, Incest.; someone once told me there are only seven basic stories and all the rest of literature is just variations on these basic themes. Well, Dark is The Sky manages to weave most of these thematic elements into one weekend at an English country estate. In this novel of familial dysfunction Jessica Chambers introduces us to a cast of characters emotionally shipwrecked by time space and interpersonal history redolent with regret for things past and fraught with mis-understanding. The Cameron's who, like lemmings have drowned their family identity twelve years before in a back story of deceit, betrayal and murder, come together to hash it all out over a bit of trifle and a snow storm during the holidays. I couldn't put it down, what scared me most were the subtle bits which I could relate to my own experiences..........
