This book has everything that you would expect from an ali sparkes book, adventure, mystery and more, such as a familly bond, a strange girl in a strange setting. Well worth the read, if you have read Shapesgifter or Frozen in time you will love this and will not be disappointed!

I have read "Frozen in Time" by this author twice now, so was happy to get this book. It is about a boy who is packed away to his highly strung aunt for the summer following his mother's serious illness. The family live near Wookey Hole show caves, and the mystery begins with a secret tunnel, a mysterious meeting with a girl who can see in the dark, and a free summer pass to the caves. Perfect young adult adventure.

made me want to visit Wookey Hole again......
I love this book, the setting was really atmospheric, so much so that I couldn't wait to visit Wookey Hole again (and I have!)

Teenage reading
16year olds holiday reading, he liked it, not a hugely gripping novel, I read it as well and thought it was a bit weak, might be better for younger readers.
