If you love Roy Orbison and his music, do not buy this. There are many unfounded slurs on Roy's character, none backed up by real evidence.Mr. Amburn's prose style involves adding spurious emotions and motives to Roy's actions, things the writer cannot have known.If you can discount this, it is fairly interesting and thorough on aspects of Roy's early career. It still begs the question - if you didn't like Roy much, why write the book?
