But you're still going to die.
If ever a game needed a great guide, it's Dark Souls. It's rare for a modern game to be designed so meticulously to enrage and engulf its players in a world that doesn't offer even the most basic assistance. Its enemies are relentless and its areas labyrinthine. Just providing players with area maps is enough to make slowly inching around each corner a little easier to bear.
We've done a whole lot more than that, however. We've extracted every last metaphysical ounce of data we could and tracked every last NPC down no matter how many times they might try and slip away. So when you're up to your knees in lava in Lost Izalith being chased by a giant dinosaur that can kill you with a single touch because your armor is rapidly crumbling away, at least you'll know that the treasure you're trying so desperately to reach is going to be worthwhile. We believe that this guide will give you all the information you need to plan your journey through Dark Souls, cut down its most lethal bosses, see its many hidden areas and events, and maybe even not die a thousand times in the process. I can only agree with the other reviews. This is by far the most comprehensive guide I have ever seen and I own a lot of guides. Even the thick Final Fantasy guides are no match for this one. A nice feature for smartphone owners is that on a lot of pages are scanable codes, which lets you view videos of the areas/boss straegies etc. Even though you can probably watch dozens of similar videos on Youtube, this is a nice feature.
Dark Souls is an amazing game and this guide fits it perfectly.
Skyrim, along with it's guide has some tough competition.

If you are a fan of Dark Souls and want to get the most out of the game then this guide is well worth the money. Even if you don't need any help with the game it is still a nice collector's item to go along with your Limited Edition.
The book is huge, hardback and almost 400 pages long. Each page is packed with information and full colour screenshots including some beautiful full page artwork.

This is no ordinary game guide. This is the King of game guides.
The quality and level of detail is unsurpassed by ANY guide I've ever bought (and I own many).
It's hard backed, glossy, full colour, oozes quality, goes into Godlike detail, etc
For the price, I'm beyond amazed and impressed. I cannot believe it's being 'given away' at such a low price.
If you own Dark Souls you'll need this guide. This will be the best £[] you'll spend this year.
