If this book doesn't get you trekking all over the moors, nothing will. Great directions and grid refs to some impressive aircraft wrecks.

A very interesting title - although it's content is a little morbid. For anyone who has wandered the Dark Peak area and wondered what the contorted bits of metal sticking out of the ground were... here's the answer. Not only does this book ( & vol 2) help you find where the 50 + wrecks are (or were) it tells the human tragedies behind the crashes. A very interesting read, and to be recommended to anyone who regularly ventures onto Kinder, Bleaklow or Holme Moss.

Generally a great book, historical info provided is fantastic.
Grid reference information in a bit dubious in some cases (book written before GPS systems were available to civillians)
