About the Author
Anthony E. Zuiker is the creator and executive producer of the most watched television show in the world, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. He produces all three editions of the CSI franchise: CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, CSI: Miami and CSI: NY. Zuiker lives with his family in Las Vegas and Los Angeles.

I'm not a real thriller reader, I prefer Agatha Christie's style about murders and suspects and so on.
But I absolutely love the CSI series so it seemed perfect for me something coming from the same place - Zuiker's brain.
It's nice, it's a good thriller book that contains everything you expect - mystery, a dark past, secrets, tons of blood and drama, a bit of real sadness.
And I think that the cyberbridges are a good idea but I had to skip and watch them in a different moment - reading on trains with no connection is not cyber-flexible.
I'll recommend it to my friends!

As soon as Sqweegel appeared on C.S.I, i loved it. he was different, smart and very alluring. i found out that there was a book. so i bought it. Best Purchase of my life. i usually hate books but i couldnt put it down, the chapters are short so you could read about 5 and then say to yourself "ill put it away now" "maybe one more chapter....." you have to keep reading on otherwise you just sit wondering what is going to happen and end up reading it anyway. A must MUST buy.

Waht an excellent idea a book with links to video clips. Now I must say I did find this a pain difficult to read in bed unless you have a laptop with you or on holiday by a pool. This aside I loved the killer right up there with the best. Not sure why some of the reviews have been so negative. The short "chapters" made it easy to read and some really great characters that you actually care about. Dark is excellent and I for one can not wait for the next one (lots of unanswered questions in this one to make you want more). Once you have finished you must watch the final video part WOW!!!!
Buy read and watch! The only problem I do have is there is no age warning on the book and with teh video links there should be!
