More About the Author

Scott was born in the wagon of a traveling show. His Momma used to dance for the money they'd throw. Pappa would do whatever he could... Well, not really. That would have been a lot more interesting though. He was actually born in the suburbs of Cleveland.

After existing for several more decades, Scott graduated from college in 2004 with a degree in history and political science. Six months later he decided he wanted to be a writer, which made the degree largely worthless. Oops.

Scott has written many novels in genres ranging from science fiction to political satire. He tried combining the two genres once, but he didn't think anyone would be interested in a sex scandal involving the President of Blargon 7.

When not writing, he enjoys being asleep.

I totally loved this book, as I did the first 3. I laughed so hard reading this that I was sure I was going to wake my sleeping husband. Again, this next episode in the series did not disappoint. It was so tongue-in-cheek with various nods to existing sci-fi movies and literature, that I was virtually dribbling! Truly loved it and look forward to the next episode!

As the previous books this one didn't lack any grip in keeping you engrossed until the last page. Book 5 coming up

Captain there be a novel here! 19 Mar. 2014
By Studs Turkel - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Kindle Edition
Scott's obvious Star Trek 4 reference in the title not withstanding, he sure can write the hell out of some aliens.

This novel is best read while having a sic-fi Bingo card ready (perhaps Scott should include that on the back cover?) To see if you can spot all the references he throws in and throw them in he does.

That's not the best part of the book however, the best part is his completely new take on how aliens would treat humans if they would invade earth. They aren't here for our resources or to make us slaves, they are her to annoy and bully us, and underdeveloped species. The mocking aliens are the best part because I believe that is exactly how aliens would treat humans if they found us. Like a kid that has found an anthill, the aliens are here not t destroy but just to bother.

Scott clearly is familiar with Sci-Fi to make this an enjoyable read, and his whole new approach to the alien character was great.

A guilty pleasure 16 Mar. 2014

It feels wrong to like a character who kills and not always for good reasons, but the author manages to make him so funny that you can see yourself having a grand evening with him-just don't irritate him.

Read this series. You will laugh and enjoy the characters and unlikely plot twists. Spoiler alert: there are no whales. But you won't miss them.
