Product Description

This is Part One of a 5-part serial. The Complete Serial Novel is also available for a special low price.

This is an alternate Earth story featuring sexy Celtic alien hybrids (with psychic abilities and fangs that serve a unique purpose), Flourdans (humans living in a female dominated society), and Romans.

In Flourda, only males with unblemished genetic profiles are allowed to breed. Lord Devereux Langley, grandson of the Queen of Flourda, knows he doesn’t fit the profile. His dark hair and changeable eyes announce his impure bloodline, and his royal family have tried to keep him hidden from the public eye. If that wasn’t bad enough, he has defects his family members are unaware of, including venomous fangs. He has managed to be evicted from three different harems, destroying his chances of acquiring a worthy mate. His mother, Princess Crimson, has made it clear to him that this is his LAST CHANCE to prove himself capable of following the strict dictates of Flourdan society or he will be castrated and made a eunuch. Devereux has no desire to be chosen by any of his mother’s cronies and he doesn’t wish to be the latest prize in their harems. He wants to choose his own mate, eventually. Flourdan males do not have that right, however.

Briella Avenal, half-sister of the Countess Nefertiti Avenal, has had no choice but to throw herself on her sister’s mercy. Nefertiti, as the head of the Avenal family, has complete control and authority over Briella’s life. She is determined to prove her worth to her sister, which means identifying any threats to Avenal. When she learns of a hybrid alien threat, she takes it seriously. She has noticed the new Lord Langley demonstrates traits normally seen in hybrids, along with some other unusual characteristics. She is not sure how much of a threat he poses to Avenal, but she is determined to watch him closely. Keeping her eyes on the lust-inspiring Dark Lord is certainly no hardship. Despite her intention to serve Nefertiti with complete loyalty, she is beginning to understand that the Countess is sadistic and evil. When she is ordered to participate in a dishonorable assault on a fellow noblewoman’s lands, she has no choice but to comply. However, the fallout will be brutal.

This story includes some adult material, including foul language, sexual situations, and violence.

5.0 out of 5 stars Awesomeness....Hubba Hubba! 23 Jun 2012

Briella Avenai is half sister to the Countess Nefertiti (Who by the way is a couple screws short of a set...I'm just saying)she is not the average Flourdan woman. (She doesn't look like she dines on steroids for breakfast...geesh)After throwing herself at the mercy of her tyrant sister she meets her sisters newest harem member Lord Devereux Langley. He is of a royal bloodline grandson to the Queen and son to Princess Crimson.

Lord Devereux Langley isn't the Nordic embodiment of a Flourdan male. His dark hair, tanned skin and ever changing eye color makes him stand out.(Not mention his outspoken manner to tell royals not just no, but Hell No!!!)He is a rebel against the society he was breed for and he makes it known on a regular. He is hounded by Nefertiti's advances and is truly disgusted by the lunatic Countess.(Not mention her hard muscles and over powering stench...Ewww!!!)Only one woman has caught his eye and that is the luscious Briella and her soft womanly curves. Devereux has a secret he is hiding and a desire for Briella by the way both could make him lose his manhood...(Especially since this is his last chance... Yes his mother said so) No seriously just check the eunuch army...(That's harsh!!!)

Briella is thrown into a plot that her sister plans in an attempt to gain more power and Briella is trying not to botch it up(or her sister will punish her... so much for sisterly love...) she is captured not once, but twice...(Bad luck o gal...) Her last abductors are different in the sense one has fangs and venom oozing from them. (Great...Really bad luck)... Briella finds herself attracted to the fang wonder and feeling overly hot when she feels the pinch from the fangs of this masked red eye devil on her neck. Briella may just find out that an hybrid is closer than everyone thinks.

On an alternate Earth where women rule with an iron fist(Yup loved that part...) and men are told and placed in the royal houses of society by their mothers or queen. Oh let me not forget the Celtic alien hybrid/Barbarians race who fight amongst themselves and the Romans on the outer borders. I clearly enjoyed this tale and envied the women in the story. What woman wouldn't want a harem of men...(I'm so in line for this...) A very good start and now I begin onto part two. The excitement started at the beginning and left you wanting more. This is a five star read.

3.0 out of 5 stars It was fine beginning 23 Jun 2012

I liked the story even though I feel that story lacked an ending, even a multipart serial book. The author states that is a four part serial but what she doesn't tell you is that you will be buying chapters of the book. To me this should have had some type of ending not the feeling I had lost the next 15 chapters. Think of it as being the end of act 1 in a play. The story has been set up and now you have to go buy the next three "books" to find the ending.

I really like where the story is heading as well as the character and world development but I am not going to buy chapters. I really hated that. The only other complaint I have is that the writing is a little stiff/awkward at times and (not the author's fault) the formating is off enough to annoy.

So, I recommend the book based on the characters/world but not for the way it is being presented. If you don't mind spending a dollar for the equivelent of 4 or 5 fast chapters, go for it. Seriously, it took me about a half hour to read the beginning of the story. I would have given it four stars if I didn't feel I was being cheated.
