Like in the movie, this Batman is somewhat outshined by the Joker. Having already purchased the DC Direct Joker I felt compelled to buy the Batman. This is a pretty nice piece that looks much better in person than on the promotional photos provided. The Joker from DC Direct though is probably the superior of the two.

Batman comes packaged in a very nice box, displaying images of the figure in dynamic lighting. Inside you'll find a decent selection of accessories too, from Batarangs to a nicely detailed pistol.

The figure itself is fairly impressive, featuring an intricate recreation of Batman's new suit. His cape features wires running down either side so it can be posed and placed into dynamic posistions, which is a very welcome touch. Batman's utility belt has also been nicely recreated in 1/6 form. The only complaint here is that the suit restricts a lot of movement and puts a limit on the amount of poses Batman can reach. However, this is to be expected due to the bulky-ness of the suit.

The headsculpt looks fine and Batman's cowl looks great. No complaints here. (Mine unfortunately featured a blob of stray black paint on Batman's face, which is an annoyance...but that's life)

Overall this is a very nice figure. As with the Joker there are better figures on the market but they come at a much larger cost. This, however, is no cheap toy and it looks great once you find the right pose in amongst other figures. Reccomended.

When the item arrived I was excited, it's beautiful and I'm scared to open it. I believe if kept in package the value is more in years to come. Other than that it;s great for the money and overall a stunning item.

if you are a fan of the film then i recommend this figure, the detail is great and you get a few accessories with it. I originally bought the joker figure first then got this figure to colmplete the collection but after seeing it this is now got to be my favourite of the two. my only problem i had was the figures interchangable hands, you get a set of hands as fists and an open set of hands. the open hand fingewrs can be bend to any position to hold his weapons. i had the bend the fingers abit first then try and put the weapons in the hands then attact them to the figure. apart from that this will be great for anyone who enjoys the film or collecting movie memorabilia
