5.0 out of 5 stars Juicy who-done-it, 14 Oct 2004
A good Deborah Crombie, Who-done-it is just what I needed to get my Fall off to the right start. Just seems to go well with the fall colors. As always the book is carried by the main characters. In this edition Scotland yard superitendant Duncan Kinkaid and his partner (and lover) Gemma James (always makes me think Jenna Jameson!) are on the chase of a serial arsonist who is terrorizing London, While also looking into the abduction of a 10 year old girl that may have been committed by the parents who are going through a hotely contested divorce. Woven into the story are the many subplots that continue on from previous books in the series. Fans of the seriers will be happy, and the book also stands well enough alone for the unintiated to give it a try.

You should also check out "A Tourist in the Yucatan" My favorite Mystery/thriller of the summer!

By Current "Debra" (London) - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)
I have just finished reading this title and thought it was the 2nd best in the series. The characters are a delight to follow and for an american, her knowledge of London is superb, must have spent a long time on research (have found a few americanisms but is fun trying to spot them). I have read all titles except one which i am now reading and I think the first I read "And justice there is none" is my favourite so far. Very easy to read and can't wait for the next title.
