This excellent album collates material from the latter albums George made for Warner brothers, and what a stunner it is. Unlike some of George's solo work, this album is lighthearted, melodious, well produced and full of some exquisite guitar work. Three of the tracks are unavailable elsewhere and, produced by Jeff Lynne, were recorded during the sessions for Cloud 9. The new tracks, Poor Little Girl, Cheer Down and Cockamamie Business, are all boppy, poppy, cheerful and will have your foot tapping in no time. Blow Away features some of the best slide guitar George ever produced, and although overlooked at the time of it's original release, it should not be so now. Perennial favourites Got My Mind Set on You and All Those Years Ago are also featured. For those people who want an introduction to George's music, I wholly recommend this album in preference to the more well known Best of George Harrison, which draws heavily on George's work with The Beatles. This is a much better album, drawing together some of Georges best and happiest tunes from Thirty Three & Third in 1976 to Cloud 9 in 1987.
