I couldn't wait to get my hands on this as i loved the first book. I think i enjoyed Dark Heart Rising even more! I feel as if I really know Jane - her first person narrative is strong and you really feel as if you've been planted inside her head. I felt her every pain and anguish... and really rooted for her to get a happy ending with lovely Luca (sigh!). But what was also cool about this book was that it took the story in a completely different direction and explored the world of Nissilum that we only glimpsed in the first book. I hope there's another one soon!
