Product Description

Manufacturer's Description

A force that existed at the very beginning of time, and will exist until the very end of time, waits to break into our world.

Those who have disturbed its slumber have paid the ultimate price. It is always waiting..

You receive a frightened cryptic voice message from your brother, an architect redeveloping an old train station and hotel in a now abandoned area. Alarmed he asks for your help.

Explore... forsaken train tunnels, the desolate station, the neglected hotel, and the unkempt grounds, and discover that although no one is there, you are not alone.

You must stand against the evil presence, armed with your wits and ghost hunting gadgets, to uncover hidden artifacts, ancient documents and a valuable journal, which together hold the key to mysterious disappearances and hauntings dating back centuries.

5.0 out of 5 stars Spoooooooky!!!, 6 Mar 2004
By Grumbleguts (Aberdeen Scotland) - See all my reviews
Play this one with the lights out and the headphones on -
it will really scare you - and not a drop of gore in sight.

This must be the most atmospheric games I have ever played.
I felt really emotionally involved. Only the best games invovle me emotionally.

The story leads you naturally through a creepy environment. The clues are all there - all logical - which is not to say they are easy - they are challenging in the most satisfying way.

But be warned - sudden interuptions - or a phone ringing in the game will make you jump about three feet out of your chair.

I thought this one was terrific.

4.0 out of 5 stars BUY IT NOW, 17 Feb 2005
By A Customer
If your a fan of 'point & click' games then this one will be right your street, its got a great storyline and is one of those games you can get lost in for hours.I espeically liked it as it has a real tense atmosphere but no 'blood and guts', you'll find yourself looking over your shoulder and if the phone rings you've had it, many times i've had serious hot coffee accidents while playing this game. There are puzzles to solve and a massive hotel to get lost in, and trust me you'll need a pen and paper for this one.Enoy!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Terrifying, 8 Jul 2004
By Grumbleguts (Aberdeen Scotland) - See all my reviews
This is one of the most atmospheric games I've ever played. Put the lights out and the headphones on - it will scare the bejasus out of you!

Not blood soaked horror - but true menace. Anyone who has wanderd around an old derelict house will know what I mean.

Roll on Darkfall 2!
