4.0 out of 5 stars Really good. 21 Sep 2013

I thoroughly enjoyed this series. I just wish the stories were longer. Its more like a series of novellas, and all of them together are one or two books. That doesn't detract from the story any, though. The omnibus lets you read them all really quickly, without stopping.

The story is good, though I would have liked a little more romance, and it would have had it all. Action, adventure, a little mystery. You can tell the author matured in her writing as she went along, though some of the words are over used (as in repetitive), but don't let that bother you. All the elements are there for a great story.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great read 6 Aug 2013

I started with Ever Shade because it was free and I thought I'd give it a try. I ended up buying the Omnibus so I could read the whole story. It is the story of a young woman who is thrown into a world of fey and dark creatures without a clue as to what she is doing but has to learn really quickly how to handle her new powers and responsibilities. It is a great read for youth or adults. There are a few places you may want to slap some sense into Shade but overall a good story.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great series 16 Jan 2014
By Robin G. Franks - Published on Amazon.com

The stories were great. They kept the flow going from story to story. Shade has to go through all the typical teenage angst while also dealing with the fast that she is half faerie and half elemental witch. Her story is told with great detail and real feeling. I can't wait til the new series starts with Shades brother.
