Product Description

The saga of Dark Angel continues!

Someone is killing normal humans in the fog-enshrouded city of Seattle. The murders are brutal and grisly, but inside Terminal City they barely cause a ripple of concern. The transgenics who live there have problems of their own. In an area under siege by the oppressive arm of the police, the transgenics must protect their fledgling colony against the outside world—a world that eyes them with contempt and suspicion . . . and will do anything to be rid of them.

As the killings escalate, Joshua comes to Max with a dire suspicion: the killer may be one of their own. Tensions are high between normal humans and transgenics, and many inside the protected City would just as soon let the humans fend for themselves. Yet Max and her inner circle know they must investigate the crimes and stop the bloodshed. Doing nothing would simply give the normals more reasons to hate.

But what they discover will shock even the most jaded among them—and expose a sinister agenda that leads to an old, nefarious foe. . . .

Back with a bang 19 Feb 2003
By A Customer
Format:Mass Market Paperback
This sequal to the exciting and original Dark Angel series carries on it's action, Sassiness(provided by original cindy)and tension in this book. The exciting plot line keeps you turning the page. The book starts where the series stopped and is very truthful to the television series. Max and her fellow trangenics are stuck in terminal city(a toxic waste area left from after the pulse) with logan(an underground journalist otherwise known as eyes only), Original cindy(Max's best friend)and sketchy(a clumsy work colleage). And outside the gates of teminal city all of seattle wants them dead.
Max is still infected with the virus aimed directly at logans DNA which means if they touch logan will die.
And things are about to go from bad to worse for Max!

This is a thrilling read not just for devoted fans of Dark Angel, it is accessable to all people.Details are well described and Max Allan Collins works the characters well. So well you can visualise it happening on the small screen. This book is well worth the read. I definately recommend it. It is very enjoyable and keeps the spark of Dark Angel alive in the hearts of fans.

I really liked the book, like I liked the series! But I think this book is not only for fans, it describes the caracters quite good, without boring the series fan. I know some people don`t like the end, bec it just ended without a big story how it exactly was, but I liked the end. I think that most movies, series and books end that way, so for me it was no suprise. I really recomend this book, especially forpeople who liked the serie, so they can read what happened next in terminal City, but not only for fans!

Disappointing
Probably one of the worst SF books I have ever read. Its only merit is that it provided a "what happens next" story and that is why I have given it one star. Read more
