5.0 out of 5 stars A man without hope is a man without fear., 24 July 2003
This review is from: Daredevil Legends Volume 2: Born Again TPB: Born Again v. 2 (Paperback)
This story is what made me want to read and write comic books. It's everything good comics should be and everything the disapponting Daredevil movie should have looked towards for it's inspiration. If this character interests you in any way but you don't quite know where to start - start here. If you still think super hero comics have nothing to say - prepare to change your opinion. Read this book. You will not regret it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Whatever happened to Mazzuchelli?, 7 Nov 2001

This review is from: Daredevil Legends Volume 2: Born Again TPB: Born Again v. 2 (Paperback)
This is one of the most impressive pieces of comic art I have come accross in years and years of reading the genre, Miller is at his absolute peak and Mazzuchelli (artist) creates a very film-esque style in the artistic stakes. Although Daredevil does not make too many appearances this is about the unbreakable spirit that is Matt Murdock, If Miller lights your candle then you cannot afford to miss this.(in my humble opinion Mazzuchelli surpasses even Miller in his depiction of the man without fear)

5.0 out of 5 stars Marvels finest, 14 July 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: Daredevil Legends Volume 2: Born Again TPB: Born Again v. 2 (Paperback)
Frank Miller is widely regarded as the man who revolutionised comics, for his work with Batman. But before that Miller honed his craft with Daredevil; and with this mini-series we see both character and writer doing what they do best. Miller ruins the heroes life, stripping away everything he cares about bit by bit, untill we get to the indestructible core. A brilliant journey of a superhero to the brink of insanity ... Not to forget the artwork of David Mazzucheli, who is just as influential as Miller in his own right; he knows how to attract your attention and where to direct it. A pure andrenaline rush from start to finish that reminds us why we love comics.
