Far too many Americanisms. Jeffers confuses "riff" with "rift"; likewise "worse" and "worst". What she means by "booker" I have yet to decide, unless she means "brook" or "broker". Jeffers would do well to leave the reader outside the Darcy's (and everyone else's) bedroom door. Don't waste your time and eyesight - there are far better Darcy sequels around.
