About the Author
Adam is the author of Danny Danger and the Cosmic Remote and the other Danny Danger books. He started writing stories when he was at primary school, mostly about robot animals or magical gadgets. As an adult, he grew out of all that, preferring to write stories about magical gadgets or robot animals. When he's not writing books, Adam works as a website producer, making (and sometimes playing) online games. Adam has been writing children's books and poems for about seven years. His last project involved writing a series of poems for London Zoo's new kids' zone: Animal Adventure. If you visit Animal Adventure, you can see Adam's poems next to each of the enclosures. Adam's favourite animal is the brown-throated sloth.

This is a really exciting theme for a book - a remote control seems an everyday object but this one can control time. It opens up huge possibilities and the author has made the most of the potential of this. Danny is given the remote, but inevitably, someone else is after it............ The Night Scientist will stop at nothing to get hold of the remote. This is a really fun read as Danny winds back time with hilarious consequences - a laugh aloud story. This is a great read for boys - the story really grips the reader and draws you through the book. Nosy Crow really do pick some exceptional titles for their list and this is no exception. I look forward to more in the series.

Danny Danger and the Cosmic RemoteThis is an excellent read, ideal for my 7 year old, It's exciting, Pausing and rewinding time with his cosmic remote Danny has to defeat the Night Scientist. He is helped by his usually unhelpful sister and best friend. I have previously read The Mr Gum books which were recommended, This series is far far better for a 7 year old, This has a giant robot fish and a remote that pauses time, what more do you want!
