I have listened to this CD over and over again and I just love it. It's Josef Locke at his best. He sings three of his most rousing songs - Blaze Away, The Bold Gendarmes and, of course, "Goodbye" which is very much his song. One of the things I loved about this CD was the audience participation. They were singing along with him and on several occasions he stopped singing and just let the audience sing which was lovely. He sings the Londonderry "National Anthem" which is "The town I loved so well." I know Phil Coulter wrote this song but, again, Josef Locke has made it his own. He just sings it so beautifully. It's a very moving song anyway but when Josef sings it you can hear the feeling of sadness in his voice. I have this CD in the CD player in my car and I just let it play over and over again. I hope other people will enjoy it as much as I do.
