3.0 out of 5 stars An entertaining read 25 Aug 2012
Format:Kindle Edition|Amazon Verified Purchase
This is an interesting insight into one mans solo travels, one which despite its flaws, I simply could not put down.
Although this book doesn't give much insight into the culture of the places visited, it does provide and interesting insight into how this solo traveller goes about getting around and experiencing new places, which I found particularly fascinating to read.
The main irritation of this book was the prolific and often inappropriate use of the question mark, though I don't know whether this is a writer or printing fault. However the the need to find out what Danny did next drove me on despite this!
As one of the other reviewers mentioned, Thailaind offers much more than what is suggested at in this journey, and in light of the books epilogue, I would like to see a sequel of Danny's further experiences in Thialand!

3.0 out of 5 stars A holiday travelog 31 July 2012
Format:Kindle Edition
A sometimes amusing story of one mans solo travels to the other side of the world. Don't expect too much. He misses many of the wonderful sites and history of the countries he visits. The hotels, campsites, and internet cafes are more often than not the main topic of conversation. I lost count of the references he makes to his dirty washing and smelly trainers.
Thailand is more than bars, call girls and lady boys. Therefore don't read this book to learn more about the countries he visits.
