Product Description

DOES NOT FIT NEW LIGHTNING PORT ON iPhone5 or iTouch6. Welcome to the first and only wrist and neckstrap adapter for Apple's iPod and iPhone. Danglet simply plugs into the dock connector port on the bottom of your iPod or iPhone, securely snapping into place, and provides a sturdy stainless steel loop through which any string or hook mounted wrist or neck strap can be attached. We provide basic wrist and neck straps with your Danglet. But, you can go ahead and use any strap you may already own or choose to buy. Danglet fits them all - all iPhones including iPhone 4, and all iPods (excluding Shuffle and iPad). See note on iTouch4 below. Danglet clips into the iPod or iPhone dock connector with two sturdy stainless steel hooking clips, one on each side. The internal stainless steel frame of the Danglet extends upward to provide an all-metal mounting hole for a clip, hook, or string mount strap. To mount a strap, just clip the Danglet into the bottom of the iPhone or iPod, then clip the strap of your choice into the Danglet's mounting hole. To remove the Danglet, just firmly squeeze the side buttons to release the steel clips, then pull the Danglet from the dock connector port. Simple and easy. Your order will include your Danglet strap adapter, one black braided Nylon 7-inch wrist strap, one black braided Nylon 17-inch neck strap, and usage instructions. Designed in the USA. Made in China. NOTE: The new 4th generation iPod Touch uses a nonstandard docking port. It is made of moulded plastic and different units vary in the port dimensions. The result is that while Danglet works with the iTouch 4, some units have a very snug fit. Also, due to the extreme curvature of the port, the Danglet is not supported against bending on the iTouch4, thus requiring additional care when used in a pocket or purse. If your unit has a fit that you feel is "too snug" we can provide you with a thinner Danglet upon request.

I purchased this product some months ago with a particular event in mind. At first I was sceptical - how can a seemingly tiny plastic thing hold my £800 iphone securely round my neck - would it work? My initial fears were entirely unfounded, it works perfectly. I road-tested the Danglet during a seven day work event that I spent approximately fourteen hours a day on my feet, up and down stairs and generally rushing around - the Danglet didn't let me down once.
My only advice to would-be purchasers is to purchase a suitable cover for the phone too, if you lean forwards the phone will swing forwards and could smash on something solid, it's a risky business otherwise! I solved this by purchasing a leather snap cover (from Amazon) that I was able to cut out a section at the bottom allowing space for the Danglet to hold the phone and still give me access to the phone at all times (make sure you cut a large enough hole or the Danglet wont secure to the phone properly). I strongly recommend this product, but make sure you cover your phone too!

I like this item it is very handy to take pictures leaning out of a boat or similar knowing it will not accidentally slip out of your hands if you are bumped, only problem is that if wearing it around your neck like I used to it is too easy to lean forward and find your phone swinging forwards into solid objects and getting bashed around. Other than that a useful item.

Clever little device and very useful if you're taking pictures with your iphone. I bought one for my wife at Christmas and she was very pleased. Do be careful when inserting into the iphone connector and make sure you press the release buttons when removing. Not suitable for iphone 5 onwards.

Absolutely the best investment I have made.... Ladies, do what I do, tuck your phone behind your bra strap (back of phone next to skin)that way it doesn't swing forwards when leaning. Plus, if your phone is on silent you can feel it vibrate as it's resting on you.
