Product Description

Product Description

He knows that escorting the haughty Grand Duchess of Maubourg to England will not be an easy task. But Jack Ryder, spy and adventurer, believes he is more than capable of managing Her Serene Highness.

He's not prepared for her beauty, her youth, or the way that her sensual warmth shines through her cold facade.

And what started as just another mission is rapidly becoming something far more personal.... --This text refers to the Hardcover edition.

Regency story 23 Oct 2008
By Wyvernfriend VINE™ VOICE
Format:Paperback
This is the story of Jack Ryder and Eva Grand Duchess of Maubourg (possibly more accurately the Dowager Grand Duchess of Maubourg as she is a widow). Jack has to rescue Eva from the macinations of person or persons unknown and bring her to England where both she and her son can be kept safe until they find out who is causing the havoc around them.

Fun entertainment, occasionally things drag a little during the flight and things sometimes feel repeditive but overall quite a good read.

Ravenhursts 13 May 2008
Format:Paperback
The plan for Louise Allen is to show you the Ravenhurst cousins.

To help there is the Family Tree of the Ravenhursts in the front of the book.

Jack Ryder is a Ravenhurst. He is to help get a duchess away from her brother in law who is in support of Napoleon. It is set around the battle of waterloo and pay attention to a few of the characters as they will pop up in the next story in the set - The Outrageous Lady Felsham.

Eva and Jack are strong and interesting characters.

Louise Allen never seems to disappoint as her stories are full of action and romance.

Sebastian & Eva 7 April 2009
By Cameo - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Hardcover
As with "The Outrageous Lady Felsham" this story was very interesting in the beginning, but as the story progressed it became uninteresting. Sebastian was pretty cool, perfect in fact, and Eva was a well thought out character, but despite these two wonderful characters, the tale failed to hold my interest past the first few chapters. It may read differently for others, and I hope it does, but this one wasn't for me.
